We finally get to put some skin on the bones of this lady. The transom needs to be planked before the sides of the hull, otherwise the hull planks has nothing to attach to. And she would leak. Which is historically inaccurate, as the only way water should be rushing in is through the gunports!

This is part of the Rideable Vasa series where we scratch build a human crewed 1:12 scale version of the Vasa - the massively overbuilt warship built to fight in the great wars of 1628. She was glorious. She sank 1300 meters from the shipyard. We aim to be slightly better.
A project without failure conditions. Either we sail, which is great. Or we sink, which is historically accurate.
