IJN Teruzuki - Short Life Ended off Guadalcanal

Few warships had has short- yet eventful -a life as Teruzuki. The second of the Akizuki-class destroyers, and a ship that was only in active service for a couple months. Such a short life that there are no confirmed pictures of the ship today. Despite this, she was in some fierce fighting around the Solomons. Including, notably, the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal. Teruzuki isn't as famous (or infamous) as Yudachi, in this regard. But the ship still got up to quite a bit. How much varying, of course, on which source you use. Regardless, in her short life, Teruzuki had a very active time. A fighter to the end. #ww2 #worldwar2 #japanesenavy Further Reading: https://japanese--warship-com.transla... https://japanese--warship-com.transla... http://www.combinedfleet.com/teruzu_t... http://www.combinedfleet.com/yukika_t... http://www.navweaps.com/index_lundgre... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GA7K9DK/... https://www.amazon.com/Blazing-Star-S... https://www.amazon.com/U-S-Navy-Again... https://archive.org/details/guadalcan... https://archive.org/details/B-001-001...
