John Rawls's Theory of Justice

John Rawls's book, A Theory of Justice, published in 1971, played an important role in reviving Political Theory in general, and Liberal Political Theory in particular. There is no dearth of literature on the ideas of John Rawls. Keeping in view the Indian audience, I tried to give an overview of his Theory of Justice, explaining in simple language different concepts associated within such as Original Position, Veil of Ignorance, Difference Principle, etc. Hope it will be useful not only to the students but also to all those interested in understanding Contemporary Political Theory.
