Ala Moana Beach Drive CLOSED 🌊 Look What Hurricane Lowell’s Waves Did! | ハワイ台風

Ala Moana Beach Drive was still closed for cleanup after Hurricane Lowell’s waves pushed large amounts of sand inland. 🌊🌴 We weren’t able to do this walk yesterday, when there was even more sand covering the area. As soon as we had the opportunity today, September 9, 2026, I came out to document what remained so you could see the aftermath for yourself. During this walk, you’ll see sand built up along the beach, sidewalk and road, sandbags, the road closure, and ongoing cleanup conditions at Ala Moana Beach Park. The ocean was still higher and rougher than normal while Hurricane Lowell remained nearby. My wide-angle camera doesn’t make the ocean conditions look as dramatic as they appeared in person, so this video is really about documenting the aftermath and cleanup, rather than showing huge waves hitting the beach.
