Revanth Reddy has made major political remarks during an event in Hyderabad’s Old City, calling the area the “Original City” rather than the “Old City.” Speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed Chanchalguda–Santoshnagar flyover, Revanth Reddy said that previous Chief Ministers had not visited the area as much as he has and expressed his desire to earn a place in the hearts of its people. The Chief Minister also made notable comments about AIMIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi. He strongly rejected allegations that the Owaisi brothers are against the country and said that their patriotism should not be questioned. Revanth Reddy referred to their support for the Indian armed forces during events such as the Kargil War and Operation Sindoor. He said political differences during elections are separate from patriotism and national security.
