Hey, what’s up guys? Thanks for tuning in and checking out my video detailing the building process of this DIY Pultec inspired, stereo, four band, mastering equalizer that I made with reclaimed vintage components aside from some specialty inductors. This did take quite a while to put together, but was quite the learning experience. With 4 transformers from the Yamaha PM 1000 console This unit adds a thickness when you turn it on, without any of the boosts engaged. I took my favourite bands from the pultec EQP1A and MEQ5 to give four bands of boost. It has many more frequency selections added per band, and I experimented with different resistor combinations to fine tune the circuit. At the end of the video you will hear the sound examples.
