1 Year Review of the World's Cutest Overland Camper - JB470

Well I have had this thing for a while now! Technically I bought it about 2 years ago, but I didn't even get it until July of 2023. Since purchasing the van, I have done a few major trips: •Galveston, TX to Portland, OR and back to Salt Lake City • Salt Lake City to San Diego •Salt Lake City to Vancouver, BC to Cape Breton, NS, Down to NYC and back to Salt Lake To say it's been an adventure is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Since purchasing the van, I have had to fix: •Harmonic Balancer & related belts •Tail Light housing •Clutch Slave & Master Cylinders •Front Brakes •Normal maintenance (fuel/ oil filters) •Reverse Light switch (still not fixed) •Turbo, Manifold, and Injector fitting: https://store.kinugawaturbosystems.co... •Exhaust •Rebuilt Injectors To be fair, driving the miles I have driven in as short of time and in as extreme of conditions as I have has a lot to do with the repairs. I also had a tune up done on the van and timing belt changed while it was still in Japan, though the Timing belt replacement seems a little suss based on the condition of the cover and some of the leaks I am seeing.
