Let's Eat, Drink, and be Merry! Remembering the X, Y, and Z axes with GE HealthCare.

Understanding how the X, Y, and Z axes manipulate our acquired volume image is important when evaluating both fetal and maternal structures. From a 3D/4D render to multiplanar to TUI, there are many ways to display our volume acquisition data. Manipulating these axes enhances the diagnostic capabilities and improves patient care. So learning a simple way to remember which axis moves which direction can make our thought process faster and more efficient. Thanks to GE HealthCare and their support of sonographers, I'd like to share with you a simple way to remember the X, Y, and Z axes taught to me by my own GE HealthCare application specialist years ago.
