Kyivan Rus Awakens | An Epic Journey Through Time

A ride through modern Kyiv becomes a journey into the world of Kyivan Rus’. Warriors march beneath storm-dark skies, war drums echo through ancient streets, and one traveler finds himself caught between two eras. Echo of Imperius presents a new song and cinematic music video dedicated to Ukraine’s historical memory. We envisioned this song as an artistic anthem honoring warriors who went into battle to defend their homeland — their courage, determination, and connection to the land they called home. Through music and imagery, we journey to ancient Kyiv, the banks of the Dnipro, and an era when ancient beliefs met Christianity. At its heart, this is a story about memory, the songs that outlive their singers, and the human connection that brings us home. Ukraine has a rich history spanning centuries. Through our work, we hope to share the atmosphere of its past and inspire curiosity about its cultural heritage. This fictional story is an artistic interpretation, not a historical reconstruction. The song is a modern tribute, not an authentic medieval battle anthem. Scenes depicting modern Kyiv are fictional. Thank you for watching!
