Iron torches line the passage but most have gone cold. In the alcoves on either side, burial urns and cracked stone tablets hold the remains of scribes, mages, and sentinels who knew too much and stayed too long. At the far end of the corridor, an iron door stands slightly ajar. Through the crack — a faint cold blue light that has no explanation. You brought your lantern. You have come this far.
