Rare Restored WWII Film in Color: The First 1939 Modern Air Blitzkrieg

In September 1939, the dawn of mechanized warfare permanently changed military history across the plains of Eastern Europe. This rare German operational film, digitally restored and presented in full color, documents the aerial campaign that initiated the Second World War. Operating from staging grounds in East Prussia, Pomerania, Silesia, and Slovakia, the German Luftwaffe launched a coordinated offensive aimed at total air dominance.
