Mod Used: n0mak x4 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... More loot, faster crafting, and increased resource production to enjoy Subsistence with less grinding. *LOOT* Loot quantities increased x4 in building crates, medical crates, ammo crates, locked crates, mining crates, plane crash crates, and special hunter base crates. Feathers, cloth, cotton, and refined lithium: each resource has a 20% chance in the base loot tables and gives 4 units. Cotton and lithium are alternatives: either one can appear, but never both in the same crate. Berries and apples appear half as often, while still giving 4 units when they do appear. Half of all fruit drops are replaced by 4 units of one of these processed materials: iron, copper, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, glass, silicon, or obsidian. All of them have an equal chance within this replacement pool. Pearls and sinew, which previously did not appear in these crates, can now be found in all seven crate types with 4 units per drop. Pearl chances range from 2% to 20% depending on the crate, while sinew reaches up to 33% in locked crates and 40% in hunter base crates. Bullet casings: double quantity. Electronic components: reduced to one quarter of the original quantity because they were dropping in excessive amounts. *HUNTERS* Everything dropped by all five hunter types now drops in double quantity. The drop chance of each item remains unchanged: the same items drop, but in twice the amount. *CRAFTING AND BUILDING* Crafting times reduced to approximately one quarter across all 256 recipes. Energy and mass costs reduced to one quarter or less. Lower material requirements depending on the recipe. Some recipes have been simplified by removing one ingredient. Ammunition: all seven ammo types now require only bullet casings and gunpowder, with no phosphorus or iron required. 9mm ammo: 1 bullet casing + 1 gunpowder. Shotgun shells, 7.62 ammo, and .44 ammo: 1 bullet casing + 2 gunpowder. Shotgun slugs and incendiary rounds: 2 bullet casings + 2 gunpowder. Adhesive: 1 biofuel + 1 ash. Gunpowder: 1 ash. Metal ingot: 1 iron + 1 copper. Bullet casing: 1 scrap metal. Circuit board: 1 electronic component + 1 pearl. Premium arrow no longer requires crystal, grenade no longer requires copper, and molotov no longer requires glass. 1 log gives 2 wood planks. Circuit boards and crystal now yield 2 per craft. Pearls, sinew, and fish oil now yield 4 per craft. *NEW WORKBENCH CRAFTABLES* Twelve items that could not normally be crafted in the base game can now be crafted. Pearl: 1 refined silicon. Sinew: 2 cordage + 2 fibers. Fish oil: 2 fibers. Scrap metal: 2 fibers. Crystal: 2 fibers. All seven seed types: 1 vegetable gives 4 seeds of that plant. *POWER, MASS, AND FUEL* Power generation increased x4 for solar panels, wind turbines, biofuel generators, and the BCU. The generator produces 4 power per second in normal mode and 8 power per second in overdrive. BCU automatic mass generation increased x4 to 0.28 per second. Fuel consumption reduced by half: the same amount of fuel lasts twice as long when comparing the same operating mode. Combined with the x4 power generation, the same amount of fuel produces eight times more total energy. *IMPORTANT* Sunlight, wind, and upgrades still affect production normally. Storage capacities and fuel tank capacity are not increased. The BCU keeps its automatic generation limits: 500 power and 100 mass. Plant and tree harvesting, world resource abundance, and respawn equipment are not modified. Craftable seeds and x2 wood planks are intended to compensate for this. Some things cannot be modified due to limitations of the mod format and remain the same as in the base game: storage crate labels, upgrading building pieces to metal, the crystal requirement for the second solar panel upgrade, and the circuit board requirement for wind turbine upgrades. However, the materials needed for these have been made significantly cheaper. With any mod enabled, Subsistence does not unlock Steam achievements or save statistics. This is a limitation of the game, not this mod. If you want achievements, play on a profile without mods. The game may split units of the same resource across multiple inventory slots. Other items may also appear more than once. Difficulty and season can affect the final results of the base loot tables.
