Part 1: Dilution Ventilation for IAQ

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) affects occupant well-being, owner/engineer risk, and facility operations. In this training, we will discuss the steps to achieve acceptable IAQ requires understanding the contaminants of concern and methods to maintain contaminants below threshold levels, applicable industry standards, codes, and rating systems. Contaminant level maintenance and acceptable IAQ using outdoor air for contaminant dilution and filtration for contaminant removal are the primary means to achieve proper IAQ. We will review outdoor airflow intake rate factors and the control to achieve acceptable IAQ.
