Vídarr – The Silent God Who Killed Fenrir | Cinematic Norse Music

Víðarr is the silent son of Odin—an immensely powerful god who speaks little but waits patiently for the moment he is destined to act. According to Norse mythology, Víðarr possesses a remarkably thick shoe assembled from scraps of leather collected throughout the ages. During Ragnarök, Fenrir devours Odin, but the great wolf’s victory is brief. Víðarr steps onto Fenrir’s lower jaw with his enchanted shoe, seizes the upper jaw and tears the beast apart, avenging his father. Unlike many of the gods who perish during Ragnarök, Víðarr survives the destruction and enters the renewed world that rises afterward. Every myth has a melody. #Vidarr #Fenrir #NorseMusic #NorseMythology #CinematicMusic
