New Hampshire Hiking: Mount Shaw and White Lake, 10/26

Scenes from two hikes - Mount Shaw loop, and Around the Lake Trail at White Lake, with Dave. Our base was the campground at White Lake State Park, Tamworth NH. By staying just south of the White Mountains, we avoided the leaf-peeping throngs. The ring-shaped Ossipee Range, a remnant of an ancient caldera, has unique charm and great views of the Whites and Lake Winnepesaukee.
