The Day Alice, Julie, and Doug Prayed for a Miracle Rescue | Days of our Lives | 2000 | FREE EPISODE

Kate (Lauren Koslow) is a wreck, terrified that Vivian (Louise Sorel) is about to expose her almost-affair with Nicholas (Victor Webster). She gets a moment of relief when Nicholas tells her Vivian has left town for good, but that relief doesn't last, since Vivian also handed Nicholas control of her 49 percent of Titan, meaning he, Kate, and Victor (John Aniston) are all about to be in constant contact. Nicholas doesn't stop there either, casually revealing he knows Victor's most private secret. Brandon (Matt Cedeño) meets with his lawyer Benny (Javier Grajeda) ahead of the hearing with Abe (James Reynolds) and the commissioner, and while Benny's confident about the outcome, Brandon insists the money was never the point; he wants a public apology, and he wants Abe humiliated in front of everyone. Later, Abe and Lexie (Renée Jones) get into a real blowup, exactly the kind of scene Brandon's been hoping for. On the island, the plane crash survivors are trying to stay alive. John (Drake Hogestyn) slips fully into mercenary mode, barking orders to build a signal fire, and Bo (Peter Reckell) calls him out on the drill sergeant routine, prompting John to admit the old instincts are creeping back in. Eric (Jensen Ackles) pulls Greta (Julianne Morris) out of a dangerous undertow, Alice (Frances Reid) proposes a memorial for Princess Gina, and Mimi (Farah Fath) can barely contain her joy at being stranded with Shawn (Jason Cook). When a rescue chopper finally arrives, it can only take one passenger at a time, leaving everyone to wonder who goes first. Back at the castle, a French doctor examines Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and wants to bring in an obstetrician, but Kurt (Matthew Mahaney), fully committed to his fake boyfriend act, talks the doctor out of it and keeps Hope trapped right where she is. As her one chance at rescue walks out the door, Hope holds onto a quiet hope that Bo will find her before the baby arrives. Who do you think gets pulled up into that rescue chopper first?
