Day 3 – The Crowning with Thorns | 9-Day Novena for the Recently Departed

Day 3 of our 9-day novena, offering the Sorrowful Mysteries with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the purification and eternal rest of our recently departed loved ones. Today we meditate on The Crowning with Thorns. Through the mockery and sharp pain of the crown of thorns, we ask forgiveness for every sin of pride committed by our loved one. 🙏 How to pray along: A calm voice leads each prayer, with the responses spoken for you. Wherever you see [Name], pause the video in your heart and speak the name of your departed loved one aloud. Watch the sacred hearts light up to keep count on the small beads. 🕯 Share your intention: If you would like others to pray with you, please write the name of your departed loved one in the comments below, that we may all pray for them together. ⏯ A note on pace: This video is set at a slow, gentle pace, mindful that you may be praying in a time of grief.
