GRADOBOR - Buregrom (full album) (dungeon synth / fantasy synth / folk)

...The village was burnt to the ground as the Knyaz stopped his black mare in front of the Beast. — Take my sword! And stop murdering my people. You are now the ruler of these lands, — proclaimed the Knyaz and stretched his hand with a beautiful ancient blade in it. The Beast was studying the old proud man in front of him, red smoke coming from its nostrils. It looked surprised with this gesture, and there was a glimpse of hope in the people’s eyes. Suddenly Gradobor unfolded its massive wings, the fire burst from its jaw and the Knyaz on his mare faded away in the flames. — Run! Into the woods! — shouted Knyazhna, and the folk followed her in fear, leaving their homeland behind… Legends tell that the proud people of Buregrom were hiding in the woods for seven months while the Beast was destroying their homes and killing sheep. However, despite mourning her father, Knyazhna’s spirit stayed strong and inspired the people, so they stayed with her. She decided to kill the Beast with a rare mushroom (known as Serpentum Interfector in the southern lands). The sheep’s wool was covered with the mushroom’s extract and the poor animal was sent towards Gradobor at night, when it was hungrily searching for prey. The wild Beast devoured the sheep and suffered in great pain. Gradobor was too powerful and did not die, but was heavily poisoned and left the lands of Buregrom forever. After the glorious victory the folk could return to their homes, rebuild Buregrom and live in prosperity under the just rule of Knyazhna.
