The Struggle of Preparing for Software Engineering Placements

Preparing for software engineering placements is more than just learning to code. There's DSA to practice, projects to build, job applications to send, and cold outreach to do. On top of that, staying consistent with everything while managing college and everyday life can be a challenge of its own. In this video, I share what I've been working on lately, how I'm approaching cold outreach and DSA, and an app I built to help me stay accountable and consistent with my goals. Because sometimes, knowing what you need to do isn't the hard part. Actually showing up and doing it consistently is. I'm still figuring things out, experimenting with different approaches, and trying to improve my chances of landing a software engineering job. I don't have everything figured out, and this isn't a perfect roadmap to getting placed. It's an honest look at the process as it happens. If you're in college, preparing for placements, practicing DSA, applying for software engineering jobs, or struggling to stay consistent with your goals, you might relate to this. We're all trying to make progress, even when the process doesn't go exactly as planned. #SoftwareEngineering #SoftwareEngineer #CollegePlacements #DSA #JobHunt #coding #productivity #programming
