We Came for Dieng Culture Festival… Then Climbed Sikunir!

Welcome to BQ Vacation: Dieng — Day 2 & 3 🎶🏮⛰️ On the second night of our Dieng trip, we headed to the Dieng Culture Festival 2026 at the beautiful Arjuna Temple Complex. Surrounded by the cold mountain air, we spent the night with friends, enjoying the atmosphere, listening to Kunto Aji, and experiencing one of the most memorable moments of the festival — releasing lanterns into the night sky. But the adventure didn’t stop there. After the festival ended, we decided not to return to the villa. Instead, we continued straight to Bukit Sikunir and took a short rest inside the vehicle. At around 3:30 AM, it was time to move again. Still sleepy and surrounded by the cold Dieng air, we started our hike up Bukit Sikunir, waiting for the moment we had been looking forward to — sunrise from the top. From music and lanterns at Dieng Culture Festival to an early morning hike at Sikunir, this was definitely one of the most unforgettable parts of our BQ Vacation. Cold night. Tired eyes.
