1270 KM BIKEPACKING THE ALPS | Day 4 – Crossing Into Switzerland

Day 4 of my 1,270 km bikepacking journey through the Alps. We started the day still in Austria and finally crossed into Switzerland. The plan was to reach Davos, but we were already behind schedule and had a very hard day ahead. There were steep gravel climbs, long sections where we had to push the bikes, hot weather, some bike problems, and a lot of elevation. But the views were incredible. Lakes, waterfalls, mountains and sunset made this one of the most beautiful days of the journey. We didn’t reach Davos, but we found an amazing place to camp high in the mountains and finished the day there.
