Haystacks Photography in the British Summer

Well this one didn't go to plan! Me an my buddy Lea have been planning this wild camp for a while and when the weekend finally arrived the weather decided it would step in! Our plan was to climb Haystacks and wild camp somewhere near the top to be able to shoot the sunset, blue hour and sunrise (with astro as a fall back should the clouds be not there!). Well that didn't go to plan! We still came away with some cracking shots though! Carrying the best part of 25kg each up there was a struggle for to plump individuals such as ourselves and when we got down we were both pretty shot. I have to say that when Lea rocked up with his 88L Rucksack and his Ranulph Fiennes mac I was beginning to think that there had been a misunderstanding surrounding the length of time we were intending to camp for! I left the trusty Nikon D810 at home in favour of my new Nikon Z6ii, I will explain why I bought this camera in an upcoming vlog, but one thing I would say is that forget what anyone says about this body, it is absolutley superb and I think that you will see from the images that I have taken the only thing it lacks is the extra weight that the D810 has!
