Opticks - Vibe-code demo

▶ Run it live in your browser: https://skunkyslopworks.netlify.app/o... OPTICKS: an audiovisual demo about Isaac Newton's Opticks (1730 edition). A sunbeam enters a dark chamber, a prism unbraids white light into seven colours, the colours bounce, bend and focus, and a final prism braids them back to white. Everything you see and hear is generated in real time by a single 176 KB HTML file: WebGL2 shaders for the visuals and Web Audio for the music. There are no video, image or audio files. Each colour of light is also a note, from red (lowest) to violet (highest), so the light splitting is something you hear as well. Made with Claude (Anthropic's AI) from a presentation of Newton's experiments, using a demo-making workflow that renders and checks the soundtrack and frames before release.
