Katmai Bearcap: Walker Returns... and the Face-Offs Begin! (Sept 3)

Walker came stomping back to the falls on September 3, and he wasn't greeted by the welcome wagon. Walker has occasionally had some moments of tension with other bears (of course), but he didn't really seem to be looking for trouble when he strolled onto the scene near Gully in the office. (But you wouldn't have known it from Gully's face - before we even see Walker's arrival.) Gully makes it known that he's not looking for a sidekick today, and he certainly isn't in the mood to give up his domain. The stare-downs and shadow play go on for a moment before Walker settles in, letting Gully know he's just not in the mood to bother right now. A short while later, Walker makes his way to the quiet of the river. Naturally, he encounters Bucky there. (Because having to deal with Gully just wasn't enough excitement for the day.) Walker's interactions with Bucky are a bit more prolonged... and somewhat more dramatic.... but ultimately Bucky, too, opts to float on his own way. Rest assured, all is well... and Walker will move on to strut his stuff elsewhere - hopefully with no pesky whipper-snappers looking to harsh his mellow.
