SUNDAY WORSHIP | GOD IS OUR PROVIDER, SAVIOUR & STRENGTH 🙌🏾✝️ Annotto Bay Baptist Church | 20 September 2026 There are seasons when we wonder where the next provision will come from. When the journey becomes difficult. When we need somewhere to hide from the storms of life. And when our own strength is simply not enough. But Scripture reminds us of a God who provides. A God who shelters. A God who strengthens. And a God who abides with us. This Sunday, we gather at Annotto Bay Baptist Church, 52 Main Street, Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica, to worship the God whose faithfulness reaches from generation to generation. Whether you are joining us in the sanctuary or worshipping with us online, come expecting to be encouraged by God's Word, renewed in His presence, and reminded that we never walk alone. 🌿 A HEART PREPARED FOR WORSHIP We begin by drawing near to God: 🎵 Here I Am to Worship 🎵 In His Presence There Is Fullness of Joy 🎵 Draw Me Close to You These songs prepare our hearts to surrender, worship, and seek the presence of God. And as we worship, we are reminded: “I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.” 📖 Psalm 145:1–8 God is great. God is gracious. God is compassionate. And His goodness is worth declaring from one generation to the next. 🍞 WHEN GOD PROVIDES 📖 Exodus 16:2–15 Israel found themselves in the wilderness, facing uncertainty about where their next meal would come from. But God provided. The manna in the wilderness became a testimony that God sees the needs of His people and is able to provide even when the way forward seems uncertain. And so we sing: 🎵 Jehovah Jireh The Lord is our Provider. ✝️ WHEN THE JOURNEY IS DIFFICULT 📖 Philippians 1:21–30 Paul's words remind us that following Christ does not mean that every road will be easy. Faith can be tested. Circumstances can challenge us. But Christ remains at the centre. And through it all, we are called to live lives worthy of the Gospel. 🪨 A SAVIOUR WHO HIDES OUR SOUL 🎵 He Hideth My Soul There are times when we need more than provision. We need refuge. We need somewhere safe to rest. We need a Saviour who can hold us when the storms come. “He's hiding my soul in the cleft of the rock.” Christ is our refuge and our strength. 🎤 THE MESSAGE Sermon & Appeal S/Pastor Mary Binnings Today's Word invites us to recognise God's presence and faithfulness through every season. The God who provided in the wilderness is still God. The Saviour who gives us refuge is still our Saviour. And the One who has carried us this far is still with us. ❤️ MY JESUS, I LOVE THEE Our response is not simply to receive God's blessings, but to respond with love. 🎵 My Jesus, I Love Thee "I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me..." His love came first. Our worship is our response. 🕊️ HE ABIDES And perhaps the most beautiful reminder of today's worship is found in the closing hymn: 🎵 He Abides “Hallelujah, He abides with me!” When the night comes... When burdens become heavy... When the road becomes narrow... the Comforter abides. God's presence is not only for Sunday morning. He goes with us into Monday. Into the workplace. Into our homes. Into our struggles. Into every tomorrow. ✨ FINAL REFLECTION “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.” — Psalm 145:3 If you need provision— Jehovah Jireh provides. If you need refuge— He hides your soul in His care. If you need strength— His grace is sufficient. And when you wonder whether you are walking alone— He abides. So today, we worship with grateful hearts.
