Kolkata → Simlipal, Odisha | Part 1 🏍️🌲 The journey to Simlipal National Park begins! We started from Kolkata and headed towards Odisha, crossing Kolaghat, Kharagpur and eventually making our way towards Simlipal. The first half of the ride was all about bright sunlight, heat, long highways and some really good stretches of road. But as the day started getting darker, the character of the ride completely changed. The final stretch towards our stay took us through quiet, unfamiliar roads surrounded by the forest. No city lights, very little traffic and eventually nothing but our headlights cutting through the darkness. It was chilly, slightly intimidating, and honestly one of those moments that makes a motorcycle journey memorable. 🌲🌙 After a long day on the road, we finally reached our Simlipal eco cottage late in the evening.
