Siliguri To Mirik By Road | Mirik Tour Guide | Mirik Lake | Siliguri To Mirik By Car | Mirik Vlog About this video ------------------- In this vlog we will cover Siliguri to Mirik road trip which is a famous tourist place near Darjeeling. Coming before Darjeeling, Mirik is a must visit place. We started our journey from Siliguri which is in New Jalpaiguri area also known as NJP. The distance from Bagdogra Airport to Siliguri is around 15-16 kms. We left Siliguri in the afternoon via Dudhia-Mirik road. The way to Mirik is very beautiful. The distance from Siliguri to Mirik by road is approximately 45 km. There is a lot of greenery on the road leading to Mirik. On the way to Mirik, we saw tea workers working in the beautiful tea gardens. We waited there for some time and saw them working tirelessly. After a while we started our journey again. 25 to 30 minutes before Mirik we saw the beautiful Balasone river. We stayed there for a while and liked the atmosphere there. It is highly recommended to visit the beautiful Balasan. Tourists can also stay here while coming back from Mirik. There is a small restaurant upstairs where both veg and non-veg snacks are available. After staying here for some time, we started our journey again. After some time we reached Merrick Point where we had noodles from roadside stalls which were good. Tourists can stay here and enjoy the lovely weather with tea and light snacks. After some time we reached the famous Mirik Lake which is the main attraction here. Mirik Lake also known as Sumendu Lake is more than 1 km long. This is probably the most scenic road in the whole of North Bengal. Beautiful tea garden on the slope of the hill and spiral smooth road beside it . Uuff what a view that was! The sky was clear and blue. It took us about 2 hours to reach Mirik.
