I'm diving into the WWI-era/late-Edwardian-era of fashion with a dress from 1916 using pre-embroidered border cotton. I based my dress on an example from Patterns of Fashion 2 by Janet Arnold that featured a tiered skirt and several layers of embroidery fabric. I had to draft this dress from scratch, rather than use a pre-made pattern. Will I have enough fabric to make the design work? Will I finish in time before my event? Also - tune in for a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! ** RESOURCES ** All my fabrics and the hat were sourced locally Buttons came from Etsy (search for "antique china/porcelain buttons") Flowers: https://www.etsy.com/listing/58714473...
