Key Details • History: Opened on June 17, 1917, during the Japanese colonial period. It was renamed Zhongshan Park after World War II, but officially reverted to its original name, Tainan Park, in 2001. • Designation: Recognized as a designated cultural landscape heritage site in February 2018. • Features: Centered around the historic Yantan (Rolling Dragon) Lake and features lush shade trees, traditional pavilions, winding walking paths, and arched stone footbridges. Because of its dense greenery and mature flora, it is often called the "Lung of Tainan".
