Rocking Twin ALCo Firing All Cylinders | 6000+hp Trivandrum Rajdhani Express for ALCo Lovers

Southern Railway taking out WDP-3A for POH and providing Twin ALCo’s instead in some trains. Seen here is compilation of two videos of longest running Rajdhani of India i.e. Thiruvananthapuram Central to Hazrat Nizamuddin, 12431 Trivandrum Rajdhani Express. First video was of the first run of twin ALCo as Golden Rock (GOC) WDM-3A # 16632 & 16232 firing all cylinders at perfect 120 Kmph through Kelve Road and in second video it was forth run with twin ALCo WDM-3A of same Golden Rock (GOC) # 16880 & 16879, quickly accelerating and zoom passed at 110 Kmph through Palghar after complying TSR of 20 Kmph at LC gate which was 3 Kms ahead of this place. Some news flying that Southern Railway is replacing WDP-3A with this train to Twin WDM-3A (definitely with higher HP and tractive effort) and will see if this train can maintain its schedule with speed of 110 Kmph through Konkan and Western Railway. However why reduction in speed is required when we have Twin WDM-3A through both region? This thought must have developed seeing Goa Rajdhani doing the same schedule with Twin Ratlam WDM-3A/3D at 110 Kmph in same regions. Hope they scrape this idea and either retain this twin with Rajdhani or bring back WDP-3A without which Trivandrum Rajdhani looks incomplete.
