Porter Embraer E195-E2 | PD211 Toronto to Halifax | night landing (C-GKQY)

Welcome onboard the last leg of my travels from Vancouver to Halifax, with stops in Ottawa and Toronto! On 10-11 March 2025, after my Ottawa to Halifax flight on Porter Airlines was cancelled, I was rebooked through Toronto with a four-hour layover there, arriving in Halifax past midnight. This was all part of my travels as part of my co-host role at Motivate Canada, a youth leadership conference! As I was already tired and stressed, I had hardly filmed anything after that flight was cancelled. The leg from Ottawa to Toronto was very empty with only about 15 people onboard, and I was seated at an exit row, not the best place to film a full flight. I then had dinner at the Corso Italian restaurant at Pearson Terminal 3 before this overnight flight to Halifax, being entirely dark it would be pointless to film the whole flight. Eventually I did make it, with my first visit to Nova Scotia being the 5th Canadian province visited and my first new province added since 2016 when I visited Vancouver the first time. The next morning, I met the Motivate Canada team for the first time in real life which I had been really excited for a long time. I'm really hoping that later this year, I will get the chance to film a Porter Q400 going to Toronto Billy Bishop, to recover what I had wanted to film and also to visit that very unique airport the first time, which strangely I never got the chance to visit despite 12 years of growing up in Toronto prior to moving away for university and beyond. Porter's Q400 dispatch reliability has been abysmal lately and that has been the main challenge to putting this to reality.
