11 MORE British TV Stars Who Terrorised Their Families

You asked for more, so here is Part 2. On screen, the nation loved them. At home, the people who lived with them were often afraid. A wife slipping her bare feet into her son's boots to escape in the night. A teenage girl coming home to a letter from her own father telling her to move out. A family fleeing to a relative's house after a pop star pulled a gun on them. And the most famous spy in film, who once told a magazine he saw nothing particularly wrong in hitting a woman. From Maxwell Reed, Arthur Mullard, Ginger Baker and Randolph Turpin to the Dynamite Kid, John Osborne, John Martyn, Maurice Gibb, Cary Grant, John Lennon and Sean Connery, these are eleven more stars whose private lives were nothing like their public image. Every story comes from court records and the words of their own families, and where they denied it or tried to make amends, we tell you that too. Which story shocked you the most?
