Eye Surgeon has LASIK! Join Dr. Medert as he has LASIK eye surgery.

There's a myth that eye doctors don't get LASIK. I've seen this countless times on social media and it's used to instill fear and get views/clicks. About a month or so ago, I decided to go "all in" and prove this myth false. I've helped so many people with LASIK and I knew that I could benefit as well. In this video, you get to see my own surgery and see what it's like for me immediately before, during, and after surgery. I'll be posting my POD1 video and a POD5 video soon so stay tuned. Big thanks to the film crew, the technicians, my wife, and of course ‪@ShannonWongMD‬! #lasik #lasiksurgeonaustin #lasiksurgeon #prk #refractivesurgery #ophthalmology #optometry #vision #eyes #eyesurgeon #myths #mythbusting #freedom #glasses #contactlenses
