2013 Prius V Brake Pad and Rotor Replacement

Today is the replacement of both the brake pads and the rotor for a 2013 Toyota Prius V. This differs from some other brake pad replacement videos in that I do not take the intermediary step of removing the brake caliper slide pin bolts (instead, I only remove the caliper bracket bolts) . This reduces the number of steps and I have to remove the rotor also, so the bracket would have to come off anyway. However, if you really wanted to get the caliper clean and re-grease the slide bolts, that may be a step you'd be interested in taking. Bolt Torque specs for all bolts related to this job. TORQUE SPECS: Frt Caliper: 25 ft-lbs (This is the slide bolt that connects the caliper to the caliper bracket) Frt Caliper Bracket: 79 ft-lbs Frt Caliper Banjo Bolt: 22 ft-lbs (this is the bolt which connects the brake line). I'd recommend not removing this as you will have to bleed the system after putting it back together. Lugnut: 110 ft-lbs
