Magnify © 2026 Gallery of His Grace ℗ 2026 Surrendered Sound Magnify is a call to lift our eyes back to Jesus. In a world filled with bad news, fear, outrage, distractions, and endless noise, it's easy to become consumed by the darkness around us. Many Christians today know far more about what evil people are doing, what politicians are saying, what disaster happened today, or what outrage is trending than they do about the goodness, beauty, faithfulness, and promises of God. In a sense, we've become very good at magnifying darkness. But Scripture tells us: "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." Philippians 4:8 What we magnify affects our perspective. It also affects our hearts. When we continually magnify problems, fear, outrage, and darkness, they begin to occupy more and more of our thoughts. But when we magnify the Lord, His goodness, beauty, faithfulness, and promises, our hearts are drawn back to Him, and our fears begin to shrink in the light of His greatness. This song was inspired by: "Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together." Psalm 34:3 and "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8 May this song encourage you to look beyond the storm, lift your eyes above the darkness, behold the goodness of the Lord, and fix your eyes on Jesus once again.
