Historic Firehouse Restoration - Residential Conversion - Parade of Homes 2016

RL Rider Remodeling took advantage of a unique opportunity to completely renovate and restore a firehouse located in Lansing, MI's historic Westside. The structure was gutted and converted into a residential, single-family home. Challenges included properly saving and restoring the existing finishes and implementing new material without losing the character of the building. This was an incredible project for us and we can't wait to utilize our experience on the next historic conversion we take on!
