Inspired by classic 1980s heavy metal and arena rock, this track delivers soaring guitar solos, galloping double-kick drums, anthemic gang vocals, and a chorus built to be screamed back by a crowd. If you grew up on Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, and Manowar — this one's for you. 🎸 Genre: Heavy Metal / Power Metal / Classic Metal ⚡ Theme: Courage, resilience, overcoming fear 🤘 For fans of: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Saxon, Accept LYRICS: [Verse 1] Fear taught me how to hesitate Steel taught me how to strike I've seen men freeze in the moment While I chose the fight Every doubt tried to claim my name Every threat tried to stay But I learned to walk through pressure And let the weak fall away [Pre-Chorus] When the night is closed in I stood my ground [Chorus] STEEL OVER FEAR Let it ring I don't bow to the doubt within STEEL OVER FEAR Hear the sound When resolve cuts deeper Than the ground [Verse 2] I've carried weight without applause No banners, no parade Just the echo of my footsteps On a path I had to make Fear screams loud in empty minds Steel stays calm and true It doesn't ask for permission It does what it must do [Pre-Chorus 2] I chose the edge Not the safe ground [Chorus 2] STEEL OVER FEAR Stand and fight I don't fade in the dying light STEEL OVER FEAR Unbent, unscarred Every step cuts closer To the heart [Bridge] Courage isn’t born in comfort It's carved under flame Every time fear whispered I answered with my name [Breakdown ] NO RETREAT!
