Rewind# Doctor Who - The Daleks Return to Planet Skaro (Restored Upload)

This restored upload revisits one of my earlier miniature Doctor Who projects inspired by Destiny of the Daleks. The TARDIS arrives on a desolate, war‑scarred world, where the Doctor senses a troubling familiarity. While exploring the ruins and tunnels beneath the surface, the Doctor and Romana become separated — and soon discover that the Daleks are present on the planet. This video recreates the atmosphere of classic 1970s Doctor Who using hand‑built model sets, customised props, animated Dalek mechanisms, and practical lighting effects. The goal was to capture the tension, mood, and nostalgic charm of the Fourth Doctor era through miniature filmmaking. Re‑uploaded as part of the Rewind Series, this version preserves the original footage while giving it updated titles, thumbnails, and context for new viewers discovering Astro Models. If you enjoy retro sci‑fi models, classic Doctor Who vibes, or miniature filmmaking, feel free to subscribe — more Rewind uploads and new projects are on the way. Kind regards, James — Astro Models UK
