Hands Like Houses - Parasite

Parasite is taken from our album, ATMOSPHERICS, out now. Stream: https://linktr.ee/handslikehouses This song is about people who use you for their benefit, regardless of how much it may destroy you. It’s an unfortunate truth but most people will gladly throw someone else to the gutter if it means they climb a little higher. We’ve all been, seen or have had a parasite in our life. Lyrics Sick mind, new disease. Suffocate , just to breathe White lies, sing for me. All of your snake eyed promises. Haunted silhouettes Black hole in your chest You fed me from the edge of a blade Cut my mouth and left me burning You’ll always find a broken piece to take Parasite, Leeching off my neck like a vampire It never ends Under my skin again, You say that you’re medicine You parasite, Parasite, You’re all the same. 12 masks for a face Blood let from a vein Your scars, won’t erase Cuz You’re my Perfect enemy Tearing at the seams You’ve taken everything from me You fed me from the edge of a blade Cut my mouth and left me burning You’ll always find a broken piece to take Parasite, Leeching off my neck like a vampire It never ends Under my skin again, You say that you’re medicine You parasite, Parasite, You’re all the same. Sound mind, bruised throat, Tighter grip, love notes I’m home Living on the edge of a blade It’s the only thing that’s worth it I’m terrified, I’m starting to love the pain CH Parasite Leeching off my neck like a vampire It never end Under my skin again You say that you’re medicine You parasite Parasite You’re all the same Sink in my skin again Laugh at my misery / give me your medicine Parasite Parasite I’m all yours I’m just a rat in the maze Least I can leave it on a high note You say you’d keep it on a high notes Lock me up swallow the key You make me wanna believe In X Whispers, feasts, feeding, drown, echoes, #handslikehouses #atmospherics #parasite
