Day 204 Isaiah 31Isaiah 31-34 YAHOVAH Yeshua Bible study prophecy Egypt United States horses chariots horsemen Holy One of Israel Ten Commandments Sabbath Holy Covenant end times Day of YAHOVAH 2 Peter 3 fig tree parable church hypocrisy Feast of Tabernacles Jerusalem millennial reign judgment righteousness
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and stay on horses and chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither do they seek YAHOVAH. The Egyptians are men, not God; their horses are flesh, not spirit. When YAHOVAH stretches out His hand, both he that helpeth and he that is holpen shall fall and fail together. You can take “Egypt” here and place United States—when they fall, they fail together. There is nothing new under the sun.
In this Day 204 Blue Letter Bible study we walk through Isaiah 31–34. YAHOVAH is wise and will bring evil against the house of evildoers. He uses the Assyrian to punish His people, then tosses the heathen in the trash. As birds flying, so will YAHOVAH of Hosts defend Jerusalem, delivering and preserving it. Turn ye unto Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver and gold.
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment (Isaiah 32:1). A man shall be a hiding place from the wind, a covert from the tempest, rivers of water in a dry place, the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. The heart of the rash shall understand knowledge. Yet a vile person shall no more be called liberal. This is talking about today’s church: put your money in the plate, you don’t have to obey the Ten Commandments, we made up a Lord’s Day. They utter error against YAHOVAH to make the soul of the hungry empty. Rise up, ye women that are at ease, who heap to yourselves teachers, having itching ears. Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, judgment dwells there, and the work of righteousness shall be peace, quietness, and assurance forever.
YAHOVAH is our judge, YAHOVAH is our lawgiver, YAHOVAH is our king, and He will save us (Isaiah 33:22). The fear of YAHOVAH—keeping the Ten Commandments—is His treasure. The highways lie waste because He hath broken the covenant, the holy covenant spoken from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly (Deuteronomy 5). Yeshua paid for the book of the law, written by the hand of Moses after the golden calf transgression: “It is finished,” quoting Deuteronomy 31. Rightly divide the holy covenant (forever, written by the finger of YAHOVAH) from the added law until the Seed should come (Galatians). The Prophet like unto Moses (Deuteronomy 18) speaks everything YAHOVAH spoke from Horeb.
Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? He that walketh righteously, speaketh uprightly, despiseth the gain of oppressors who teach “nobody can keep the Ten Commandments.” Shut not your eyes to sin. Thy eyes shall see the King in His beauty.
Isaiah 34: the indignation of YAHOVAH is upon all nations. The host of heaven shall be dissolved, the heavens rolled together as a scroll. Peter quotes this in 2 Peter 3:10—the Day of YAHOVAH comes as a thief in the night; elements melt with fervent heat. Learn the parable of the fig tree (Mark 13 / Matthew 24). Seek ye out the book of YAHOVAH and read: none of these shall fail. The Holy Covenant is forever.
Grace (Titus 2) teaches us to deny ungodliness. The Spirit of truth (John 14:15-17, Acts 5:32) is given only to those who obey. Feasting the Feast of Tabernacles outside Jerusalem is the sin of Jeroboam. Come out of church error, keep the Sabbath, get rid of idols, warn from the housetops. The remnant is shielded; the wicked are wiped out. My people shall dwell in peaceable habitations.
