Teshuvah Day 33 - Leave Me in Awe

Return to the Whole Story From Creation to covenant, from Passover to the wilderness, from the prophets to the Cross—the whole story has always been pointing toward Jesus. After His resurrection, Jesus opened the Scriptures and showed His disciples what had been written concerning Him. Their hearts burned within them. There is a fullness in Christ that we have barely begun to behold. Not because He is withholding Himself, but because His fullness is inexhaustible. As Teshuvah leads us toward the Days of Awe, perhaps this is where awe truly begins: Not merely looking at how far we have fallen, but beholding how glorious He is. “Beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself.” — Luke 24:27 There is more of You to know. There is more of You to love. There is more of You to behold. Jesus… leave me in awe. Soli Deo Gloria.
