“Kanna Kar Mega Vanna” is a devotional Bharatanatyam presentation that glorifies Lord Krishna’s divine beauty, charm, and grace. Through expressive abhinaya, the performance brings out deep love and admiration for Krishna, the dark rain-cloud–hued enchanter.
The choreography weaves together powerful episodes from Krishna’s leelas—Vastra Haranam, where he playfully tests the devotion of the Gopikas; Draupadi Vastrapaharanam, where he protects Draupadi with divine grace; and Kalinga Narthanam, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
Blending devotion and storytelling, the piece celebrates Krishna as the playful child, the protector of devotees, and the supreme divine presence.
Ragam: Keeravani
