It's known for old wooden mansions, pine-covered hills and sea views. It's one of the most scenic day trips you can take from the city. HOW TO GET THERE Departure point: Eminönü / Kadıköy Transport: ferry Journey time: about 1:30 to 2 Hours Ticket cost: 165 TL Payment: Istanbulkart 💡 TRAVEL TIPS Go early. Weekends and summer days get crowded. Wear comfortable shoes, because the island is hilly. Check the return ferry timetable before you go. Carry some cash for the horse carriage, bike rental and small shops.
