FrankenPumpKini - What Have I Grown? 🎃😱

I created a monster and it's alive! 🎃 Meet FrankenPumpKini! Last year, I saved seeds from my Long Green Bush marrow, expecting to grow more marrows this year. But something rather unexpected happened! The plant looked a bit like a large courgette at first, but the fruit was a different story. It's oval, with faint green stripes and orange flecks, and changes colour as it matures. Could it be the result of cross-pollination with one of the pumpkins, squashes or courgettes growing nearby? 🤔 There's only one way to investigate further, so I'm going in and dissecting a fully mature one to see what's inside! What do YOU think I've grown? Have you ever had any surprises from saved seeds? Let me know in the comments!
