Still Across the Marsh to the Broad | England

The route follows on from the railtrack, passing between open marshes and the edge of the broad. The giant bug is called a black clock beetle. The area is known for its barn owls, eurasian hobbies, cetti's warblers and reed warblers. In summer, the marshes display southern marsh orchids, marsh marigolds, and ragged-robin. Water voles may be seen in the dykes, and the marshes are grazed by cattle. The walk follows Marsh Lane in Oulton Broad. No talking.
