Here's a nice 240 touch of Grandsire (with yours truly on the fourth), for a wedding at St Giles' church. This was then followed by a 120 of Plain Bob Doubles, but I'm sure you've seen enough Bob Doubles here and elsewhere. It's a real refreshing change to do methods for weddings, rather than just call changes. This was also the first time that the five new ropes were rung all together. I'd helped to fit them a fortnight prior and we tried the front three out to some Plain Hunt Singles (PH on 3 for those who don't know) immediately after. The ropes are being replaced in stages. With 1-5 done, the back five need doing next. By the end of the year, we'll hopefully have a nice set of ten new ropes.
