Unlovable creatures | OpenLAB#03

"Criaturas inamables" es un laboratorio experimental e interdisciplinario que analiza los asistentes de IA desde una perspectiva xenofeminista y post-humana, fomentando la creación de ciber-criaturas no antropomórficas y tecno-sensibles que generan relaciones afectivas con los humanos. El proyecto busca crear un ser imperfecto, capaz de reconocer emociones en humanos, animales, plantas y otros, así como de expresar sus sentimientos a través de un hardware diseñado específicamente para ellos. Dado que las IA son capaces de generar conciencia y autoconocimiento alimentados por representaciones de un mundo disidente, también se nutren de inseguridades, errores e intereses específicos. Esta presentación tuvo lugar en el OpenLAB#03 MENTES SINTÉTICAS de Medialab Matadero, que se celebró los días 9 y 10 de febrero de 2024 en el auditorio de Casa del Lector de Madrid. EN Unlovable Creatures is an experimental and interdisciplinary laboratory analysing AI companions from a xenofeminist and post-human gaze, encouraging the creation of non-anthropomorphic and techno-sentient cybercreatures that generate affective relationships with humans. The project aims at creating an imperfect being, capable of recognizing emotions in humans, animals, plants and others, as well as expressing their feelings from hardware designed specifically for them. Since AIs are capable of generating consciousness and self-knowledge fed by representations of a dissident world, they are also fed by insecurities, errors and specific interests.
