Hiking to Sahale Arm and Sahale Glacier Camp and a summit attempt of Sahale Mountain - The hike and climb from Cascade Pass to Sahale Arm, Sahale Glacier Camp and Sahale Peak is a must if you are in Washington's North Cascades National Park. Simply put, this is probably the most beautiful hike in the state of Washington and arguably the entire United States. The Sahale Arm area is definitely a top ten hike in the United States. The never ending beauty begins at the Cascade Pass Trailhead at the end of Cascade River Road near Marblemount, Washington. The Sahale Mountain area should be on every serious hikers bucket list. Several switchbacks lead you up and out of the forest into gorgeous rolling alpine meadows. Sahale Glacier Camp is the next objective and its eagle nest type campsites made out of stacked rocks offer some of the most incredible views in the entire park. Continue up and over Sahale Glacier to Sahale Mountain for even more outstanding views of the North Cascades.
