Suspended Scallop Cast On

This cast-on produces a beautiful edge to your work which is a refreshing change from Garter, Seed or Rib Stitch. It’s a six row cast-on and then you can proceed with your pattern (shown above with Stockinette stitch). There is only one row that involves turning and paying attention and I have divided it into sections and added stitch markers so you can keep track while completing the row.
