Poisson's Ratio Lab Experiment (2-15-22)

For my Solid Mechanics Lab course at SDSU. Here, a cast iron bar is tested in tension. The bar has a cross section measuring 2.5 inches wide by 0.375 inches thick. Two strain gauges on each side measure strain in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction. A Tinius Olsen universal testing machine is used, along with a BLH strain indicator box and a switching and balancing unit.
